Featuring Monaro, Torana, Peter Brock Memorial room, plus large range of memorabilia.  Australia's largest privately owned collection of Monaro and Torana under one roof!

The collection is owned by Monaro enthusiast Kelvin Moar, "We had three Monaros, and we had to have somewhere to store them, and this shed came up on the market...from there it grew and now its full, we can't fit any more in."

The shed is filled to capacity with the likes of a prize-winning 1976 HX limited edition Monaro Coupe, a 1974 Purple HQ Coupe and a blue 1968 HK GTS. "Monaros have been my main passion - or sickness, whatever it is," he says, but the Toranas, well, there his wife's interest!

Moar, started his working life as a motor mechanic and "ended up at the Holden dealers, where I used to wash one of them, I was never allowed to drive it and I thought 'I'm going to own one of these!" How did Monaros compare with other cars on the market at the time? "I think they were far superior for a sports car because they broke into the Australian-made 2-door category that no one else seemed to be game to tackle. And they proved to be very successful."

Monaros and Tornas are still driven to this day, and can fetch prices in excess of $60,000. Until he wins the lottery though, Kelvin is happy to buy them in a less accomplished state and spend his time, up to 18 months, repairing them.
