We are a small commmunity shop based in
Kaniva, West Wimmera, Victoria. If you live in the Kaniva area and have something to sell, please pop in.
Statement of Purpose
To be a creative and community-based space for sharing skills and ideas
To be accessible to all community members
To promote healthy living and environmental awareness
To raise funds for community projects, groups and workshops
To be a small business incubation initiative
To be a training ground for job skills
The Purple Starfish cooperative shop is open to all community members. Please call Helen Hobbs on 5392 2657 if you have goods to sell; vegies, plants, cooking, art, craft, etc. All you need to do is volunteer half a day per month in the shop. Volunteer helpers are also very welcome. A small commission is charged on goods sold to assist with running costs, funding materials for Saturday morning youth classes and other Kaniva youth/ arts based projects.
